Huggins talks Pittsburgh, series
As West Virginia (16-10, 6-7) prepares for a crucial matchup with arch rival Pittsburgh (15-11, 4-9), most of the discussion centered around the possibility of keeping the series going in the future with the two teams heading into separate conferences.
Head coach Bob Huggins said he plans to speak with Pittsburgh head coach Jamie Dixon at season's end about the future of the series, and he would like to continue the series that dates back to 1904. West Virginia will move to the Big 12 Conference July 1, while Pittsburgh is set to transition into the ACC.
"We're all looking for good non-conference games," he said.
