Gross: 'A lot to think about'

WVSports.com When Baltimore (Md.) Dunbar defensive end Marvin Gross visited West Virginia earlier this spring for one of the practice sessions he got his first taste of Morgantown and the football program. But his return trip for the annual Gold-Blue game allowed him to see a side he hadn't seen up to this point and gave him a lot to think about as his recruitment moves forward. That's because Gross, 6-foot-4, 220-pounds, got to observe the Mountaineers in a game scenario, which allowed him to watch the defense at full speed as opposed to a practice setting.
"It was very exciting. I got to see the players play a little faster than they would in practice and I got to interact with the fans which was pretty cool," he said. "I got to see West Virginia on a day that wasn't just a practice. It was a great experience."
