Temperature Take:



A prototypical pocket passing quarterback, Childress committed to the Mountaineers in April while on an unofficial visit. Recently, won top QB honors at the Texas 7-on-7 state championships and was one of the most accurate passers in attendance, displaying good arm strength and decision making. Has picked up offers from Arizona and Arizona State, with others including Oklahoma State showing interest but remains firmly committed to the Mountaineers and enrolled early to compete during the spring.(Updated 01/08)

Temperature Take:



Jennings visited West Virginia during the spring and by all accounts enjoyed his time in Morgantown, but after his showing in the Elite 11 his recruitment has skyrocketed attracting recent offers from Alabama and Nebraska. The athletic signal caller has interest in the Mountaineers, but it's going to be a battle to get him in gold and blue especially with more and more interest coming in daily.
