Defense moving forward
Although West Virginia's defense surrendered 63-points in a back and forth high-scoring affair with Baylor, a review of the tape Sunday revealed some positives that weren't as apparent immediately after the matchup had concluded.
One of those is the fact that West Virginia held the Bears to around 2.5 yards per carry on almost 50-attempts, co-defensive coordinator Keith Patterson said.
"We felt good about that," he said.
