Dawson: Offensive notes

Against Texas West Virginia was faced against plenty of pressure and a pair of two of the most talented rush ends they will go up against this season, but this weekend against Texas Tech it will be a different kind of challenge.

The Red Raiders haven't shown nearly as much blitzing during the first five games of the season and instead have tried to keep opponents in front of them. And it's a formula that's worked thus far as Texas Tech currently ranks second in the country giving up only 210-yards per game, while holding quarterbacks to only a 117-yards per game and a 52-percent completion rate.
