True freshman wide receiver Devonte Robinson knew if he kept working hard in practice there could be opportunities to see the field and during the Texas Tech game he got word that those could be coming.

And sure enough, Robinson saw the field the next week against Kansas State.

"I didn't expect it, I just kept working in practice with the scout team every day, just getting better that was my job. I was ready, I was like coach 'I was ready,'" he said.
