For senior running back Shawne Alston things haven't come easy during his last two seasons at West Virginia battling injuries that have cost him numerous games.

"I'm just thinking it's karma, I probably did something bad one day in my life," he joked.

Alston made his way back onto the field last season after a lingering neck injury to develop in the Mountaineers feature back, and things opened that way this season with a very strong performance against Marshall. Until a first quarter hit in the James Madison game put that momentum to a halt.
