In a game that many West Virginia fans had circled on their calendar when the Big 12 schedule came out earlier this year the WVU Mountaineers lost to the #12 ranked Oklahoma Sooners by just a point 50-49.

After a disappointing middle portion of the season a segment of the fan base decided that they didn't want to take the journey to Morgantown to see what many expected to be a double digit loss at home. While this Mountaineer bunch walk away with a check mark in the loss column this might have been one of the more entertaining games of the year. You can't deny that fact that the Mountaineers gave their all to almost pull off one of the biggest wins in Mountaineer Field history.
