WVSports.com West Virginia put together a valiant effort against No. 12/13 Oklahoma, but it wasn't enough as the Mountaineers fell by a single point 50-49.
West Virginia led 49-44 and held the Sooners to a 4th down although the Mountaineers were unable to hold as senior quarterback Landry Jones connected with junior wide receiver Kenny Stills for his fourth touchdown of the night to give Oklahoma the win.
