Austin brings new dimension
When senior inside receiver Tavon Austin got word that he was going to get some carries out of the backfield Saturday night against Oklahoma, he didn't expect he'd emerge as the Mountaineers all-time single game leading rusher.
Austin had previously played primarily at inside wide receiver, but saw significant action in the backfield and rushed for 344-yards against the Sooners, breaking the previous mark held by KJ Harris set against East Carolina in the 2004 season opener.
