Huggins: 'It's a marathon, not a sprint'

WVSports.com After a devastating beat down at the hands of Gonzaga last week, the West Virginia basketball team got the bad, losing taste our of their mouths Thursday afternoon, beating Marist 87-44 in the opening round of the Old Spice Classic in Orlando.
But while the Mountaineers looked head-over-heels better against the Red Foxes than the Bulldogs, Coach Bob Huggins stressed that there is still a long way to go on the season, and the improvement today can always be lost before the next contest.
