Alston back in saddle

It had been so long since running back Shawne Alston was close to a clean-bill of health that he actually lost track of how many games he was hampered by a nagging thigh bruise. But Saturday the senior was the healthiest he had been since the opener and he made his impact felt.

Alston toted the ball 19 times for a career high 130-yards and a touchdown, but more importantly provided the physical presence in the run game that the Mountaineers had been lacking since he initially was injured in the James Madison game.
