West Virginia is in Charleston to take on Marshall a little earlier on the schedule than normal this season in the 2012 edition of the Capitol Classic, but while the date has changed, the opponent still presents a difficult challenge for the Mountaineers.

The matchup, which is normally placed in the middle of conference season, will be played tonight in the Charleston Civic Center at 8 p.m. The new placement of the game will make things less difficult for the Mountaineers during the hectic conference season because the Mountaineers already typically play one marquee opponent during that stretch.
