Immokalee (Fla.) wide receiver Jacky Marcellus has been committed to West Virginia since August and the explosive athlete caught up with WVSports.com about his recruitment and plans for official visit.

Marcellus, 5-foot-8, 175-pounds, recently was visited by lead recruiter defensive line coach Erik Slaughter at school and the plan is for offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson to pay him an in-home visit in January.

The Rivals.com three-star also plans to take his official visit to Morgantown Jan. 18, along with many other West Virginia commitments including Philadelphia (Pa.) safety Daryl Worley, who Marcellus has gotten close with.
