Browne key in Mountaineers win over EKU

Gary Browne struggled from the field Sunday afternoon hitting only three of his ten attempts but the sophomore was key from the free throw line in West Virginia's narrow victory over Eastern Kentucky.

Browne finished the game with a career high 17-points, but hit 10 of his 11 attempts from the stripe as he provided a spark off the bench for the Mountaineers. His ability to get to the line proved crucial in the second half after West Virginia relinquished a 15-point lead against a resilient Colonels squad.
