Good … but bad

West Virginia (9-9, 2-4) was able to even its record at .500 Wednesday night beating TCU (9-10, 0-6) 71-50 inside the Coliseum and while the victory was an obvious positive, there's still much left to be desired from the group according to head coach Bob Huggins.

The Mountaineers were able to apply defensive pressure and take the Horned Frogs out of what they wanted to do in the first half forcing ten turnovers leading to 12-points. However, in the second half West Virginia struggled to get stops and allowed TCU to mount a run that brought the lead down to only 11-points.
