Plano (Tx.) quarterback Richard Lagow thought he had his future destination mapped out after committing to Connecticut over the summer. In fact, the 6-foot-6, 220-pound signal-caller had every intention to sign with the Huskies until around a week before signing day.

"I wasn't feeling 100-percent about it and wasn't sure if it was the right place for me," he said. "Then the day before signing day I got sick and when I woke up the next morning I decided I wasn't signing, I was going to wait until I felt better."
