WVU QB Problems is One of Many in the Big 12
The football philosophy of if a team has two quarterbacks than it doesn't have any quarterback, has come to fruition during the 2013 season, especially in the Big 12 Conference. Every team from Lubbock to Norman has dealt with the ongoing problem of finding a quarterback.
West Virginia has used Paul Millard, Clint Trickett and Ford Childress. WVU's opponent on Saturday, Texas Tech has tried both Baker Mayfield and Davis Webb, while Oklahoma State had an open competition between JW Walsh and Clint Chelf during the first two weeks. Oklahoma's indecision with Trevor Knight and Blake Bell just shows how much of a learning curve there is at the position.
