WVU Receivers Working Towards Steady Success
When West Virginia opened training camp back in early August, Head Coach Dana Holgorsen and offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson knew their team was filled with youth and inexperience.
Seven games into WVU's 2013 season and it's clear the Mountaineer offense is filled with that youth and that inexperience.
At the receiver position West Virginia isn't just starting players that didn't see playing time last year, they're starting receivers that didn't even live in Morgantown a year ago.
"If you look at where we're at right now, we still are looking at where a majority of our skill guys didn't even have a West Virginia uniform on last year," said Dawson, "It's not an excuse, it's just reality. So we're trying to preach let's get better every week."
