Tandy turns down home school; heads for WVU
Kentuckian Keith Tandy turned down his home-state flagship to join hands with the West Virginia football program on Tuesday.
The 5-foot-11, 180 pounder took a visit to UK in Lexington last weekend, "but I was pretty sure I was going to West Virginia all along," said Tandy Wednesday morning.
That was due to the allure of playing for a program that might be heading to a BCS bowl for the second straight year, if it can take care of business in its last two games. That and the fact that his hometown of Hopkinsville and Morgantown line up about the same, size-wise.
