WVU School of Journalism 1954 graduate. Monongah High 1950 graduate. 43 years in newspapers, as editor and/or reporter. Retired from Akron Beacon Journal in 1996. Season ticket holders for Mountaineer football for years, MAC contributor. We sat with my Rivesville sister and Fairmont niece, a pharmacist at Ruby Memorial, until the death of my wife, Monia. Now I bring my girlfriend or a family member for each game and Paula and I go to one WVU road game a year -- South Florida, Colorado and Auburn so far, LSU for the 2010 season. We have 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, all in Ohio within 22 miles of me.
