Moro recalls breakout game, spring season

While many players and coaches look at the spring game as an opportunity to show fans the progress of the spring and provide an afternoon of football to get through the offseason lull, for some it's an opportunity to break out in front of a crowd.

For Matt Moro the latter proved to be the fact on Saturday as the senior recorded a key interception early in the game and helped shift momentum in the defense's favor during the 43-34 victory.

However, the overall performance by the defense overshadows personal success in Moro's mind when thinking about the Gold-Blue Game.
