Gateway head coach talks Rogers

Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway head coach Terry Smith isn't shy talking about the type of player and person West Virginia will be getting in 2014 wide receiver Ricky Rogers.

"A terrific young man, he's a great person, very personable and very kind," he said. "He's a well-mannered kid and obviously is a really good athlete."

Rogers, 6-foot-3, 190-pounds, committed to West Virginia while on an unofficial visit for the Kansas game after making several previous unofficial stops in Morgantown and for his head coach the decision was one that was only a matter of time.
