Sims comes up big
When West Virginia secured the services of Houston transfer Charles Sims for his final year of eligibility, head coach Dana Holgorsen simply said that the versatile running back was special. And when the Mountaineers were in a must win situation, the senior more than backed up that talk.
Sims carried the West Virginia offense Saturday against a tough TCU defense, carrying the football 24 times for 154-yards and a touchdown, while catching another three passes for 35 yards and another trip to pay dirt.
