Missed chances

West Virginia (4-6, 2-5) was close, but didn't have enough in the end to overcome Texas (7-2, 6-0) at Mountaineer Field falling 47-40 in overtime. And once again you can point at missed opportunities.

On both sides of the ball, West Virginia had multiple chances to close the door but wasn't able to as the Longhorns made just enough plays to force the Mountaineers to the brink of missing a bowl for the first time in 12-seasons. West Virginia must win its final two games to extend its bowl streak.
