Mitchell's visit leads to official




This time of the year often leads to new opportunities on the recruiting trail as schools look to put the finishing touches on their recruiting classes and that is the case for a defensive back currently committed to another program that is scheduled to visit West Virginia in the near future.

New Orleans (La.) Landry-Walker cornerback Travonne Hobbs has been committed to Utah since mid-December but after West Virginia cornerbacks coach Brian Mitchell stopped by his school to see him late last week the Mountaineers are now clearly in the picture.
