Final three for Blackmon
Ardmore (OK) receiver Justin Blackmon was looking forward to playing for the Oklahoma state title this weekend, but before he could get there, his undefeated season came to an end this past weekend in the semi-finals. Blackmon said he wasn't going to let one game ruin such a great season.
Over the past few weeks, Blackmon said he has been talking with three schools about possible visits. He said that in that time, he may have been talking with one more than the others, but that he wants to check out the trio before making any decisions.
Blackmon admitted that it hasn't been easy to watch Missouri in the past few weeks because it seems like every game has been on at the same time as his own games. However, when he has talked with the coaches, he's enjoyed getting to know them and working together to get his visit set up.
This weekend, with his game being played at the same time, Blackmon said that he got updates from family and friends as soon as his game was over. He said that after hearing about it, he was looking forward to watching the highlights from the Tiger victory.
With his focus now turned to recruiting, Blackmon said that he hopes the next few weeks can start to bring some clarity to his search. He wasn't sure when he may know when he would know his favorite, but that he thought he had three good schools to choose from.
