WVSports.com continues with our popular feature: The 3-2-1. We'll break down three things we learned that week, two questions we have and give one prediction.

Here is the next installment of the 3-2-1 looking at the West Virginia football program, the latest on basketball and what’s happening in recruiting.

3 things I learned:

1–Commitment run continues. The Mountaineers have now added 12 commitments to the 2025 class since the calendar flipped to June bringing the total number in the class to 19 and perching the program inside the top 25 nationally.

Over the last week, the Mountaineers added pledges from Lakeland (Fla.) 2025 cornerback Sammy Etienne, Tampa (Fla.) Gaither 2025 cornerback Serious Stinyard and Nashville (Tn.) Lipscomb Academy 2025 defensive lineman Amir Leonard-Jean Charles on three consecutive days. And then Danville (Ky.) Boyle County 2025 athlete Montavin Quisenberry June 21, Wyndmoor (Pa.) La Salle College High 2025 spear Chris Fileppo from this past weekend's official visit group and then Douglasville (Ga.) 2025 linebacker Michael Hastie today.

It's a testament to the work being done on the front end as the coaching staff has prioritized key targets and have been able to bring them to campus for official visits.
