Current Mountaineers Daikiel Shorts and Wendell Smallwood also played at Eastern Christian Academy.
A four-star prospect, Sills also held offers from Michigan, USC, Boston College, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Maryland and several others. He is rated as a 5.8 recruit and the 14th overall pro-style quarterback prospect.
