El Dorado (Kan.) Butler C.C. athlete Charlie Benton had a feeling that West Virginia could become the first power five school to extend a scholarship offer.

Proves that notion was correct.

Benton, 6-foot-3, 215-pounds, already held an offer from Bowling Green but the Mountaineers jumped into the picture after defensive assistant Mark Scott gave him the good news.
