There's no way to sugar coat it. West Virginia simply didn’t get it done on the defensive side of the ball against Kansas.

The Mountaineers allowed 49 points, 6 came on an interception return for a touchdown, and the Jayhawks piled up 419 yards. The visitors scored on six of nine drives in regulation while taking advantage of alignment and miscues at multiple levels on the unit.
