Wheaton leaves impressed with stop at WVU, decision coming
Holly Springs (N.C.) wide receiver Bryce Wheaton knew what to expect prior to stepping foot on campus at West Virginia earlier this week, but he still left thoroughly impressed with both the school and the football program ahead of a late summer decision.
Wheaton, 6-foot-3, 200-pounds, didn’t work out during his visit to Morgantown but had an opportunity to get a complete tour of the campus as well as going over items with the coaching staff, academic staff and even the strength staff during the course of his trip.
“I felt like a priority,” he said.
