WVU football season ticket sales ahead of last year's pace

West Virginia season ticket sales are slightly ahead of last season’s pace according to officials.

The total is approximately 20,000 at this point for the 2018-19 campaign which is ahead of the pace last season according to Matt Wells who serves as the senior associate athletic director for external affairs.

The Mountaineers will have six home games on the slate this fall including Youngstown State (Sept. 8), Kansas State (Sept. 22), Kansas (Oct. 6), Baylor (Oct. 25), TCU (Nov. 10) and Oklahoma (Nov. 23).

Each of those dates will be Saturday’s with the exception of the Thursday game against Baylor and Friday against Oklahom ahead of Thanksgiving.

Season tickets begin at $365, a savings of $35 off the single game price.

Depending on seat locations, season tickets may require a Mountaineer Athletic Club annual fund gift.

Available tickets are located in the Red, Orange, Gold and Green Zone sections. Seat locations in the Orange Zone require a $125 per seat MAC annual fund gift. Available Gold Zone seats require a $250 per seat MAC annual fund gift. Red Zone seats require a $425 gift per seat MAC annual fund gift.

New season ticket orders can be made online at WVUGAME.com, by calling 1-800-WVU GAME or in person at the Mountaineer Ticket Office located in the Coliseum.
