After not playing a single defensive snap last week, Philadelphia Eagles rookie cornerback Rasul Douglas played 11 snaps on defense and seven snaps on special teams, racking up two tackles and two passes defensed in a 31-3 win over the Chicago Bears.

On the offensive side of the ball, Eagles running back Wendell Smallwood was inactive for the second straight week and rookie wide receiver Shelton Gibson made his NFL debut Sunday against the Bears and played four snaps on offense and seven snaps on special teams, but didn’t record a statistic in the team’s win.

On the other side of the field, Chicago Bears linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski had his streak of two straight games with a sack snapped Sunday in the loss. Kwiatkoski recorded one tackle.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Charles Sims carried the ball once for three yards and caught three passes for 26 yards in a 34-20 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Also for the Buccaneers, safety Keith Tandy recorded two total tackles and defensive lineman Will Clarke recorded one.

After welcoming his newborn son Saturday night, Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam Jones was back on the field Sunday after missing last week’s game with a concussion and recorded two combined tackles in a 30-16 win over the Cleveland Browns. Jones also returned one punt for 16 yards in the win.

Carolina Panthers cornerback Daryl Worley played 52 of team’s 70 defensive snaps and recorded three tackles and one pass defensed in the team’s 35-27 win over the New York Jets. Worley was seen in a walking boot after the win and according to Max Henson of the Panthers’ official site, Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said Monday that Worley will have his foot checked out.

Tennessee Titans offensive guard Quinton Spain started his ninth game of the season and helped pave the way for 92 rushing yards in a 20-16 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Tavon Austin caught three passes for -1 yards and added 17 rushing yards on five carries in a 26-20 win over the New Orleans Saints. Austin is up to 42 receiving yards on the season and 188 rushing yards and a touchdown this season.

Seattle Seahawks linebacker Terence Garvin totaled two tackles in a 24-13 win over the San Francisco 49ers while his teammate, offensive guard Mark Glowinski, didn’t start despite taking over at right guard last week for the injured Oday Aboushi, but played some snaps in the win.

Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Adam Pankey and Detroit Lions offensive lineman Don Barclay were inactive again this week.
