Lake Butler (Fla.) Union County 2025 cornerback Gavin Jenkins was excited when he received the news that West Virginia was extending a scholarship offer.

Jenkins, 6-foot-2, 175-pounds, had been in contact with secondary coach ShaDon Brown and he was the one who gave him the news that the Mountaineers were offering.
