Pensacola (Fla.) Catholic 2025 athlete Xavier Thompson doesn’t know much about West Virginia at the early stages of his recruitment but hopes to change that.

Thompson, 6-foot-0, 172-pounds, received a scholarship offer from the Mountaineers during the evaluation period when the coaching staff stopped by his school.
