2025 OL Auguste has West Virginia on his list

Coconut Creek (Fla.) Monarch 2025 offensive lineman Bryan Auguste has some decisions to make when it comes to his recruitment.

Auguste, 6-foot-6, 275-pounds, lists West Virginia, Kentucky, Syracuse and Boston College as the programs sticking out the most to him right now.

Each of those stand out for different reasons but the Rivals.com three-star prospect will need to sort some things out when it comes to summer visits.

Auguste recently stopped by the West Virginia football program on an unofficial visit March 29 and left highly impressed with the presentation as well as how the coaching staff connected with him. The offensive tackle spent time with offensive line coach Matt Moore and established a strong connection.

“I felt a really good vibe. I love the way they do things over there,” he said.

Auguste is well aware that West Virginia will be losing some of their tackles after the season which could open the door for early playing time if he proves ready for that challenge. That also is something that has caught his attention when it comes to the Mountaineers.

Auguste has already booked official visits to Syracuse May 31-June 2, Boston College June 7-9 and Kentucky June 14. But the Mountaineers are trying to work their way into that mix.

“As of right now it’s between West Virginia and Boston College,” he said.

The Mountaineers are trying to secure that date but Auguste is taking his time to sort things as he previously booked that trip with the Eagles and isn’t looking to burn any bridges in the process.

“I did speak with coach Moore about reaching out to me if there was another date available,” he said.

So, West Virginia is currently in the mix but still wants to move further up that ladder.
