2025 point guard Muldrew adds West Virginia offer

Springdale (Ark.) Har-Ber 2025 point guard Courtland Muldrew is just starting to familiarize himself with the West Virginia basketball program.

Muldrew, 6-foot-3, 170-pounds, found out about the offer from the Mountaineers after a conversation with associate head coach Chester Frazier and was initially excited.

Now, he wants to find out even more about the school.

“I will definitely get closer with the program,” he said.

Frazier has made a solid connection with Muldrew considering that he has recruited him since he was an assistant at Illinois. The began when Frazier started talking to at a high school team camp.

“He’s a great dude,” he said.

Muldrew is being targeted as a point guard and he is coming off a season where he averaged 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists per game as a junior. Teams have been impressed with not only how he can score the ball but the way Muldrew gets after it on the defensive end of the floor.

The talented guard has already visited Texas, Mississippi and Missouri but is hoping to make it to a number of other schools including a potential trip to Morgantown.

Muldrew wants to find a school where he is going to be pushed on the floor in order to develop him for the next level. He has no current timeline for a decision but wants to get a feel for each of his options.

“So I can make the best decision for me,” he said.
