2026 OL Hamilton adds West Virginia offer after impressive camp

Washington (D.C.) St. John’s College 2026 offensive lineman Adrian Hamilton put on a show at the second West Virginia big man camp of the summer.

And his efforts were rewarded with a scholarship offer from the Mountaineers for the second time.

That’s because Hamilton had actually received an offer from the program before when defensive line coach AJ Jackson stopped by his school but this one was a reinforcement of that after a strong showing in front of offensive line coach Matt Moore and head coach Neal Brown.

“I talked to Coach Moore and Coach Brown and they told me they were going to offer me,” he said.

During the course of the camp, Hamilton impressed the coaches with his strong showing during the one-on-one portion of the event. His efforts were rewarded with one of the MVP honors.

“Coach Moore really encouraged me to use my long arms and athleticism,” he said. “I can tell that their system requires very athletic linemen.”

After the camp, Hamilton was able to tour the campus and the facilities while being able to talk more and get to know the coaching staff even better.

West Virginia is targeting Hamilton as a guard or center. The coaches are impressed with his frame and the fact that he is equipped with long arms, good hands and good feet.

“They said I reminded them of their center who recently got drafted, Zach Frazier,” he said.

Hamilton definitely plans to return to West Virginia and is excited to see how things continue to develop between him and the Big 12 Conference football program.

“I will definitely come back to West Virginia so I can hopefully call it my home in the future,” he said.
