Highland Springs (Va.) wide receiver Ali Jennings has given West Virginia a major commitment in the 2019 class after choosing the Mountaineers.

Jennings, 6-foot-2, 186-pounds, had narrowed his list down to a top eight that also included Michigan State, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Temple, Toledo and James Madison but ultimately it was West Virginia that secured his commitment.

The Mountaineers surged to the forefront of his recruitment in recent weeks in large part because of the connection that he established with wide receivers coach Tyron Carrier as well as head coach Dana Holgorsen.
