Clearwater (Fla.) Clearwater Academy defensive end Akheem Mesidor made the decision to leave behind his native Canada to further his football career and the move has paid off to date.

Mesidor, 6-foot-3, 255-pounds, left Ottawa with four scholarship offers and now is rapidly approaching 25 as he has been able to showcase his skill set in front of college coaches.
