Fortune said WVU visit moves them up for talented cornerback
Lawrenceville (Ga.) Central Gwinnett cornerback Nicktroy Fortune is looking for a place, regardless of distance, that feels like home. He might have found just that at West Virginia after a visit to campus.
Fortune, 6-foot, 165-pounds, made the trek from the Peach State to the Mountain State for an unofficial visit to Morgantown Wednesday and the trip far exceeded his expectations coming into it.
“I loved it. I can say that,” he said. “It was way better than I thought it was going to be. I thought it was going to be a little basic but when I came I was impressed,” he said.
