West Virginia is searching for another guard in the current class and one possible candidate to fill that role will be coming on an official visit this weekend in Hollywood (Fla.) University School’s Trey Doomes.

Doomes, 6-foot-3, 175-pounds, has been on the Mountaineers radar since during the summer but things have heated up in a big way of late with the West Virginia coaching staff visiting him at school and then locking in a date for an official visit this coming weekend.

Assistant Ron Everhart has served as the lead recruiter for Doomes and was responsible for not only coming out to see his games but establishing an early connection.
