North Alabama OL Clay commits to West Virginia

The West Virginia Mountaineers football program has landed a commitment from North Alabama offensive lineman Mickel Clay.

Clay, 6-foot-5, 278-pounds, spent three seasons at North Alabama including last year where he started all 12 games and played a total of 792 snaps.

Clay announced his decision on social media.

The Cincinnati native graded out at 77.0 overall last season according to Pro Football Focus.

Clay appeared in a total of 1,138 snaps over his career. He started his career at the junior college level.

Clay has one season of eligibility remaining in his career.
