Ohio DE Becomes WVUs Latest Commitment

West Virginia has received a verbal commitment from highly regarded defensive end Keilen Dykes. The 6-4 260 pound pass rushing terror will be a senior this season at Chaney High School in Youngstown, Ohio.

Dykes chose the Mountaineers over Pittsburgh, Missouri, Louisville, Cincinnati, Toledo, and Clemson. Each of his favorites, along with several other schools, had offered him a scholarship with the exception of Clemson.
Keilen has been a starter since his freshman year and this past season he collected 80 tackles including 18 sacks. Last season, Dykes used his 4.8 speed in the 40 and a 400-pound bench press to overwhelm his opponents and was named to the Division Two All-Ohio team.
“I just knew West Virginia is where I wanted to be, they’ve been my favorite all along,” Dykes said of his decision.
