West Virginia will play Utah in the Heart of Dallas Bowl, according to multiple reports.
The Mountaineers finished the season 7-5, including 5-4 in the Big 12 Conference. The game will be played in the Cotton Bowl Dec. 26 with kickoff set for 12:30 p.m.
The Utes finished the season 6-6, with a 3-6 mark in the Pac12. Utah was able to get bowl eligibility by beating Colorado in the season finale.
This will be the fourth straight bowl game for West Virginia and the 36th bowl appearance overall as the Mountaineers have a 15-20 record all-time in previous games.
The Mountaineers are 0-1 all-time against Utah with the only meeting coming in 1964 in another bowl game the Liberty Bowl.
