West Virginia makes contact with Oklahoma transfer Duke Miles

The West Virginia basketball roster is up to 10 players for the 2025-26 season but the work is not yet done for head coach Ross Hodge and company.

And one of those players that has been contacted is Oklahoma transfer guard Duke Miles, according to a report.

According to Tobias Bass of The Athletic, the Mountaineers are one of a number of programs that have made contact with Miles.

That list also includes Georgetown, where he is set to begin a visit today, along with Virginia, Tennessee, USC, Baylor, Iowa, Gonzaga, Vanderbilt, Arizona State, and Saint Mary’s.

Miles spent this past season at Oklahoma, where he averaged 9.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.4 steals per game.

Prior to that, Miles was at High Point where he was a first-team Big South Selection and the league's Newcomer of the Year after averaging 17.5 points, 3.6 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals per outing.

The Alabama native started his career at Troy, where he spent three seasons with his most productive coming in his third averaging 14.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.7 steals per contest.

Miles has already committed to two different programs this off-season first picking Virginia April 7 before backing off that pledge April 11 and then Texas A&M April 22 before being granted his release May 5.

Miles has one season remaining.
