West Virginia continued its run of adding transfers into the football program when former Alabama wide receiver TJ Simmons announced that he would be finishing his career in Morgantown.

Simmons, 6-foot-2, 205-pounds, enrolled early at Alabama as a class of 2016 prospect and saw action in 12 games on the field this past season primarily on special teams. However, this spring he took a step forward in the wide receiver rotation and was expected to challenge for serious time at that spot.

The former Rivals.com four-star prospect hauled in six passes for 82 yards and a touchdown in the Crimson Tide spring game but elected to transfer to West Virginia after taking a visit to campus.
