Virginia teammates have impressive showing at WVU camp
One of the more impressive groups of prospects who made their way to Morgantown was the duo from Dinwiddie Virginia. 2017 athlete Tye Freeland and 2018 safety K'Vaughan Pope made the haul through the West Virginia mountains to show the Mountaineer staff that they were deserving of a WVU offer.
Freeland has offers from Virginia and Wake Forest but tells WVSports.com that a West Virginia offer would mean a lot to him.
“West Virginia is a pretty good school,” Freeland said. “A lot of good athletes came from WVU and I think I could be one also.”
The 6-foot, 170-pound athlete had a good camp and the Mountaineer staff told him that they would be keeping an eye on him during his senior season.
