To Graham Harrell the air raid offensive system can be boiled down to some simple concepts.

“Leverage and grass,” the first year Mountaineers offensive coordinator said.

Harrell played under one of the most prominent figures associated with the scheme in Mike Leach at Texas Tech but recognizes that the phrase air raid can be misleading in itself.
